MULTI-SIGNATURE-KEYS
BitGo Safe enables multisignature transactions, and the benefit of those is that they enable bitcoin transactions that must be authorized by more than one public key. Therefore, we don’t store private keys but BitGo. We don’t charge extra for any crypto or currency kept longer in our wallets. However, this is not a cold storage, your funds are available right away. In the future, we will add the option to store for longer time crytpos, service which will be charged.
LEGAL IN EUROPE
BELGIUM has an excellent reputation regarding customer protection and business transparency. It is also noteworthy that our Bank has also an excellent reputation: ING Bank. We recently added Papal as a method of payment and fiat withdraw, each transaction being manually reviewed. Larger crypto withdraws also require manual approval.
SECURITY
We put security on the top of our list priority. Perhaps this has the market weakest point so far. Multisignature ads lots of benefits but it must be combined with other security measures. Technically speaking, we isolated all containers from the web and made them accessible only via the allowed ports, through secure connection. On top of the web app, there is Amazon default shield and a Web Application Firewall, monitoring all traffic. Our team is constantly working on keeping the measures updated. MULTILAYERED PROTECTION
What you may want to bear in mind is that we don’t store private coins keys to our platform, that there are multiple layers recording activity on platform, including login date and time, transactions and transfers history. Everything is very transparent.
CLONED VIRTUAL MACHINE READY
There are several cloned instances ready to start when the load on servers increases, databases are running on separate instances not reachable from the WEB via HTTP and data is constantly being backed up. A record is also kept on BitGo.
SMALL FEES
You can re more about fees on fees section (see footer menu). We think the fees are low compared to other exchanges and services we are offering. It’s up to you to decide if our claim is true.

Protecting your investment
Our wallet system uses three keys. One is stored on a trusted 3rd party server. Another is the user’s “hot” key, used in transactions, while the third is a backup key that can be held in any form by the user, say on a USB stick or a paper wallet.
